Oman's eMushrif acquires Kuwait's My Route
eMushrif, the Oman-based IoT and smart transportation startup, has acquired the Kuwaiti startup My Route, public transportation smart app. My Route will merge with eMushrif and be the operational arm in Kuwait.
eMushrif turns ordinary school buses into smart buses to ensure children safety. The solution brings IoT to buses and consists of sophisticated hardware and intelligent software that help schools and parents to keep track of buses and students with four levels of safety checks inside the bus to provide high level of safety and efficiency.
Founded in 2019 by Hasan Akbar, My Route focused on public transportation live tracking to allow users to track and book buses and make their journey easier. Hasan, the solo entrepreneur will join eMushrif as a result of acquisition and lead eMushrif Kuwait office as a country manager.
