Meet Adnan Al Shuaili the youngest Omani who made it to the coveted Forbes list
Forbes Middle East has come out with its annual list of young achievers under the age of 30 for the year 2020. The promising list contains entrepreneurs, innovators, professionals, performers, artists and disruptors across Middle East.
Interestingly, Adnan Al Shuaili, the co-founder and CEO of eMushrif, became the youngest Omani to be featured in the coveted Forbes list.
Adnan’s company eMushrif develops intelligent software that makes sure that children are safe in school buses by allowing schools and parents to monitor buses and children in real time.
His company serves more than 90 private schools and 60 public schools in Oman and Kuwait.
According to Adnan, the company is currently closing a $2 million funding round at a valuation of $11 million.
His company has also introduced face recognition to mark attendance in schools and partnered with Google to develop edge-AI applications.
“Some of them have already built and scaled multi-million-dollar businesses patented cutting-edge technology, or made a considerable difference in the lives of other people and those less fortunate than themselves. Their achievements at such a young age are incredibly impressive,” Forbes said in a statement.
