Innovation Cafe completes Qatar 1st e-commerce Hakaton.

Innovators from Qatar and nine Arab countries participated in the recently completed e-commerce Hakaton, the first of its kind in Qatar organized by Innovation Cafe.
The four-day mixed Haquaton event aims to address, nurture and launch the latest innovation opportunities in the e-commerce industry, encourage innovation and mobilize solutions.

Supported by Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), Vodafone, Microsoft, Qatar Development Bank (QDB), and Mankato, Qatar has brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, and innovators from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia. , Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey.

Participants demonstrated their ideas on eight e-commerce themes: defining ‘artificial intelligence solutions for e-commerce’, ‘unique mobile e-commerce solutions’,’ e-commerce payment solutions’, ‘marketing automation, ‘customer experience’, ‘AR / VR for Product Virtual Reality ‘,’ Fulfilment Automation & Robotics’, and ‘Last-Mile Delivery Technology & Robotics’.

Participants were assessed on market viability, contribution to Qatar’s national vision for 2030, team capability, creativity, and alignment with the theme. Judge panel Mansour bin Khalifa al-Thani, chairman of MBK Holding; They include Dean.

The top three winning teams have been announced on the last day of the hackathon. The winners received up to QR75,000 in support and investment, mergers into the Snonu Incubation Program (SIP), investors and partners, and the opportunity to meet local and international consultants who are members of industry-leading corporations. 
Winners will be given a choice of access to apply for the recently launched Microsoft Program and, if approved, will be able to open a Microsoft Cloud stack up to $ 350,000, learn technical guidance, 1 ፡ 1 consultant, and self-direction.
The winner of the Best Peach Award presented by Injaz Qatar has been announced. Two special winners were also awarded at the Innovation Catalyst Institute.
