Workshop highlights SMEs draft law

The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, in cooperation with some relevant government departments, organised a workshop to devise a draft law for SMEs regulation.

The workshop saw the participation of many officials and specialists representing 21 government departments, namely the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, Royal Oman Police, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the State Audit Institution, Oman Investment Authority, the Secretariat General of the Tender Board, Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, the Central Bank of Oman, the Capital Market Authority, the Tax Authority, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and Oman Technology Fund.
